MINNESOTA CHRISTIAN WRITERS GUILD
​WRITTEN WORD AWARD

 The Northwestern Christian Writers Conference seeks to honor distinguished writing and talent at the conference in the presence of one's peers.

​Awards will be presented to the winners at the end of the conference. This year, there are 
5 awards in which conference registrants may submit entries. As long as a submission fits the criteria, you can submit the same piece for multiple awards.

Written Word Award Submission Criteria

Submit a nonfiction writing sample that reflects wrestling with God’s promises or the challenges of living for Christ in a fearful world.
  • One entry per person.
  • 750-1000 words.  Double-spaced, 12-point font, numbered pages.
  • Submission must be unpublished, original work that has not won any previous accolades.
  • You must be registered for the Northwestern Christian Writers Conference.
  • Deadline: May 15, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. CST
